What does a day in the life of your role look like?

As someone who supports a large network of schools in Texas and a couple of other states, I have a team. I do a couple of different things, like checking in with my direct reports to monitor progress.

We have a process and tools we use. I spend time in strategy meetings, planning for the future or reflecting on current operations. Because we work with schools, I also visit them to see programs in action.

I take notes to gather on-the-ground data about how programs are being implemented. This information helps us reflect and improve during our meetings.

There's also a component of addressing issues that come up throughout the day while supporting schools. This includes responding to questions from principals or regional leaders and providing feedback on tools and resources my team develops. Ultimately, it's all to ensure our schools and the programs my team leads are running effectively.
