What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I love that my job gives me so much opportunity to write. When I got my degree in journalism, I originally thought I would be a journalist because I just really loved writing.
As I started taking my journalism courses, I realized it's a very specific style of writing. It's very fact-based, and I wanted to do writing that allowed me to be a little more creative.
PR has given me so much opportunity to do that, so that's something I really love. I also love that PR is super collaborative. Every day looks very different.
So if you're someone that likes variety, PR is a great career path for you. I get exposure to so many different marketing disciplines. I work super closely with our social media team, our paid media team, and our brand marketing team.
Again, every day is really different, and I think that's one of the best things about working in PR.
