What entry-level positions are there in this field that undergraduates and graduate students might consider?

There are many positions in this field. When you're starting out, you'll probably see roles like communications coordinator, public relations assistant, or marketing assistant. There are a lot of entry-level roles to begin with.

I highly encourage anyone genuinely interested in corporate communications to accept an internship. As part of the internship, ask questions about rotations within the team. The company I work with now does summer internships.

Each week, the intern gets to experience a different aspect of what our global corporate communications team does. Internships are critical.

There's also a huge need for opportunities in social media, social media assistance, and social media marketing. Those all tie in together as well. There are lots of positions and opportunities.
