What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
For every 10 to 15 "no's," you'll get one "yes." Just keep trying.
I know when I was trying to break into the industry, even with my internship experience, I kept getting told, "Sorry, you seem great, but you just don't have sales experience. Do X, Y, Z."
So then I took those recommendations and put them into practice. I buckled down and kept trying, networking, applying, interviewing, and meeting people.
Just don't take no for an answer and don't give up. It takes time.
