Driven, outgoing, and ambitious. You also need to be communicative.
In any industry, but especially when the stakes are high, you have to be a good communicator. Real estate has high stakes; it's a multi-trillion dollar industry.
You must communicate well and consistently. This includes networking and doing things you might not otherwise want to do to build your network.
People who are willing to do things they don't really want to do to achieve their goals are the ones who will thrive.
If you're in real estate and prefer to stay home, you'll never network. If you answer emails the next day, you won't last long, regardless of your role. In sales, clients will go elsewhere. In admin, you'll get fired because you're risking money.
It takes being driven, ambitious, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile to succeed in an industry with these high stakes.
It's the same in an industry like entertainment. You have to be willing to work; you can't just show up and clock in.
