Favorite Parts of Working in the Coworking Industry as a Founder and CEO
Nickolaus enjoys the "people facing" aspect of the coworking industry, finding fulfillment in "understanding what drives people" and using this insight to better serve their company and staff. The high stakes involved in real estate, with its "expensive endeavor" and significant financial risks, also appeal to their competitive spirit and drive for high performance.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
One of the biggest things once we open and launch is coworking. I'll be around a lot of people.
For the most part, I'm a social person. Sometimes I have introverted moments, but I'm generally a people person.
My industry specifically involves a lot of people interaction and connectedness. You get to learn a lot about other people, which advances me in every aspect of my life.
When I can understand and empathize with people, or understand what drives them, I can better serve others, my company, and my staff.
The secondary reason is the stakes. The stakes are high in real estate because there's a lot of money involved. I like high stakes; I like when things matter.
It kicks me up a notch and makes me perform at a higher level when the stakes are higher. I've always been entrepreneurial and have developed businesses.
This particular venture is an expensive endeavor. It makes the mistakes higher, and I really thrive in those high-stakes environments. Those are probably the two things I love most: high stakes and being around people.
