What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
That's a good question. It assumes I enjoy something about it, and you're going to hear that a lot from attorneys. We're a very pessimistic bunch.
The things I would say I enjoy aren't so much about my role as an attorney as they are about my specific situation. I'm in a very small firm, so I have a lot of flexibility in my job.
If I need to run home and pick up my kids from school, I can, barring any scheduled hearings, appointments, or meetings. I can kind of situate my day how I want, which is very beneficial. That's probably the nicest thing.
