Entry-level Positions for Aspiring Attorneys
Entry-level legal roles for undergraduates are limited, with Nathan citing "legal secretary, assistant type, um, maybe paralegal" as examples. Even these roles offer valuable experience, allowing individuals "to be in a law office and kind of see, uh, how it operates," providing a foundation for future legal careers.

What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?
There aren't that many. The ones I can think of would be legal secretary, assistant type, or maybe paralegal.
Those would be a runner. Sometimes attorneys use runners to go file. They used to, in the old days, to go file things with the court or serve somebody.
So those are the only real kind of entry-level positions. But even those positions would be good for somebody just to be in a law office and see how it operates.
