What does the day in the life of a partner manager look like?
The day in the life of a partner manager is primarily spent in partner meetings. I'm pretty much talking to one to two of my partners on calls every day.
On those calls, I focus on how they are tracking towards their revenue goals and present new opportunities that should help them achieve that. When I'm not on partner calls, I'm answering a lot of partner emails and troubleshooting issues when they arise.
I act as their sounding board and point of contact within Google, so they lean on me pretty heavily. Beyond that, there are also a host of internal meetings.
We try to better understand how the internal team can achieve our goals and make sure we're on the right path. We also work on ad hoc projects that come up to help us get there.
