As a woman in leadership in the tech industry, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
To have that vision of what you want to do and what role you want to have, and to know the framework you are in, helps you a lot navigating different situations. This is especially true in the tech industry, which is kind of male-dominant.
Previously, in supply chain management where I was working, that was definitely a male-dominant environment. It was very important to know your approaches to problems, how you are holding up, and even how you need to form conversations and show your confidence.
It's very important to know how you want to place yourself and what you want others to perceive of you, if you want to be a leader, specifically when you are in a male-dominant environment.
