What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think in this role, I get to really see the impact and importance of Meals on Wheels services. I see how providers across the country are doing such important work to serve older adults in their communities.
Working for Meals on Wheels America, the leadership organization that supports so many of these providers, has been a really cool experience that I've enjoyed. On a day-to-day basis, I often work with programs ranging from a small one in Alaska providing veterinary care to clients and their pets, to a large program in Austin, Texas, delivering impressive amounts of pet food to older adults and their pets.
It's really cool to see the differences, the successes, and the different things people are trying across the country. On top of that, it’s really cool to feel like you have sincere partners and friends across the country. They are all doing really impressive and different work.
