What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

What I really love about tech, and this is what drew me in when I first started out of undergrad and before I went to law school, is just how dynamic it is. Again, that sounds like a cliché about the tech industry, but it's true.

You never know what's going to happen. Your competitor could get acquired, then go bust, or they could release some product that's going to blow yours out of the water. You have to be agile and adapt to that.

Other industry challenges might pop up that you never expected. The time that we're recording this, Silicon Valley Bank went bust a couple weeks ago. No one saw that coming. Thankfully, I think it's going to work out for most businesses affected, but that's just one of those challenges that come up.

There's no playbook for it, and you just have to roll with it. So, it can be a little stressful, or not stressful sometimes, but it makes it really interesting and keeps me going.
