What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

During my undergraduate studies, I tried out different careers, specifically within the legal field. I made an effort to do this every summer, which I felt was hugely beneficial.

This exploration helped me get a sense of direction, even though it didn't reveal my exact career path. Ultimately, I didn't pursue law, and I ended up not following through with any of the fields I explored during my summer internships.

However, that process of elimination was incredibly valuable. I've actually carried that approach into my post-law school legal career, as trying things out is always worthwhile. It's about identifying what you enjoy and finding something more focused on that.

I believe being curious and adaptable is incredibly important in your career. Undergrad is the safest time to explore these options, as you have a real safety net of time. I strongly encourage everyone to explore as much as they possibly can during their undergraduate years.
