What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I work as a Mission Assurance Manager for the Boeing Company, specifically in their Space Division. Many people hear "Boeing" and think of aircraft, but we also have a significant defense contracting business.
This includes Boeing Defense Systems, where we build commercial and government satellites. Essentially, my role is a hybrid of technical engineering, project management, and quality assurance.
I serve as the primary interface for our customers. Any technical or quality-related issues that arise, I present them to the customer. I am ultimately responsible for ensuring our satellites meet all technical requirements for their mission life and long-term operational needs.
