What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
I was that three-year-old who everyone said was going to be a lawyer, and here I am, almost 50 years later, still being a lawyer. I love what I do.
I love helping people. I love telling their stories. I love getting to know my clients' businesses and being strategic to help them with their litigation in a way that can advance their business interests.
I also love the challenge of thinking on my feet. There's nothing quite like making an argument in court and waiting for the judge's questions. You can often predict what they'll ask, but sometimes they come out of left field. Knowing the case well enough and being ready to answer those questions is really fun.
