Biggest Challenges Faced by a Senior Strategy Analyst at Disney
Mike's biggest challenge as a Senior Strategy Analyst at Disney is the inherent ambiguity of many tasks, "just being given a task with no real instructions," requiring independent problem-solving and judgment calls on when a deliverable is "good enough." This highlights the need for strong independent thinking and initiative in this role.

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I feel I'll be myself in many of these different questions. As I mentioned, one of the things I like most about my current role is also one of the biggest challenges: ambiguity.
Often, you're given a task with no real instructions or previous way of doing it. You just have to figure it out. This is fun and exciting because you get to approach it your own way.
However, it's also challenging because you don't always know where to start. This leads to the question of what is "good enough."
This is definitely the biggest challenge I face. Is it a good enough product to ask for help, or do I need to keep thinking about it and spend more time on it? Hopefully, with more time in this role, I'll develop that judgment. For now, though, the day-to-day ambiguities are definitely the biggest challenge.
