What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I'm going to talk about two roles. I have a few different part-time roles at the moment, but the two I wanted to focus on today, going back to the climate focus that I've been taking this past year or two.
I'm a community ambassador for an organization called the American Conservation Coalition. Essentially, I spread awareness and increase membership for the group. It's an environmental nonprofit really focused on market-based and limited government solutions to climate change.
I found this organization in 2022 and I'm really passionate about it. That's one role.
The other is with a company called Tarn Industries. They're an environmental consulting company out of Australia, though they also have a US presence. I'm a partnerships manager for them, which is essentially working to define that gray area between sales and something else. My role involves defining and managing new and existing partnerships.
