What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
The thing I enjoy most about being in my industry is that every day is so different. I love being able to work outside and adapt my schedule to fit the needs of the day.
If I want to go outside, I can just go outside. I've never been one to want to sit in an office all day. In this particular job, when I'm out in the field, I'm still on the clock and can do necessary tasks outdoors.
I also get to work with children, which I love. We sometimes work indoors, but mostly outdoors. I get to partner with other districts, like I was just working with Channel Coast District, which is just south of us, for some of their events.
I get to travel and meet new people in my industry. It's really a blast.
