What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?

You can basically do anything entry-level in the climate field. In my experience, you could be an entry-level engineer at a startup, or you could do social media for a startup or a support organization like Greentown Labs. Marketing program coordination is another option.

Keeping an eye out for coordination positions in this industry is a good place to start. Those are usually the entry-level ones where you don't need a lot of experience on the business side. Engineering and STEM positions use a whole different set of lingo.

Especially within startups, they're often looking for folks who are more early in their career and willing to wear a lot of hats. At startup support organizations, there are a lot of positions for program coordinators and admin roles to start out and then transition to a more strategic role.
