What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
As a capital project manager in the energy and utilities industry, I feel the coolest thing is that we're building things from scratch. We take designs and create brand new systems that are more sustainable, better, and more carbon neutral, really bringing them to life.
Hopefully, one day, with my nephews or my own kids, we'll be driving by the 10 freeway towards Arizona. I'll be able to say, "Look to your right. I helped design, procure, and build that station."
So, building these complex facilities that are better for future generations is something I truly enjoy and find a lot of passion in.
