What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
One thing that was really important, both between undergrad and through my career, has been having an open perspective and always maintaining a positive attitude.
For example, if I have to go to a class I don't particularly want to attend, I tell myself, "Hey, maybe I'll learn something new, or maybe the class will be enjoyable." Similarly, when I go to a career fair and feel tired of introducing myself, I remind myself, "Hey, I'm going to learn about new companies, and I'm excited to meet people."
Ultimately, it's about gaining different perspectives from others and getting a better understanding of the industry. Always having an open perspective and a positive attitude is critical, not just for daily life, but in general.
