How would you describe people who typically thrive in your industry?
Go-getters and driven individuals aren't afraid to make decisions. They have the wherewithal to negotiate, whether it's contracts or costs, and to have tough conversations.
I'd say driven, go-getters, and negotiators are the big three. Go-getters and driven are similar, but it essentially means you have to be able to drive things forward.
You have to pick something up and move the ball forward. You have to be making decisions every day and not be afraid of them. You want to progress things; if you don't, it will never progress.
This applies to both your career and the project you're working on. You're putting in so much time fighting for your right to move forward, to get promotions, and to progress your career.
