Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
My career path really started my freshman summer out of college. During that summer, I worked with a nonprofit called the Should Not Our Foundation.
I worked as a teaching assistant and a little bit more in operational analysis. The next summer, I followed up with the Should Not Our Foundation as a data analyst in an internship role.
Both of those roles showed me that I loved social impact. I was really interested in the analytical approach to the nonprofit world.
That translated into my career as Executive Director of Sandhill's Pride. Before that, I was mostly focused on data analytics in the media analytics industry, as well as real estate development. In those roles, I took on financial analytical and project management responsibilities. All of that experience translated into my Executive Director position.
