What A Co-Founder At SolarGroup And FleekSleek Wishes They Had Known Before Entering The Startup Industry
Michael from SolarGroup & FleekSleek wishes someone would have told him that success in the role takes significantly more time than initially anticipated, cautioning to expect a six-month journey instead of a two-month sprint and to not "talk down yourself." Embracing the "process" and finding joy in "walking towards it and problem solving" becomes more important than the destination itself.

What have you learned about this role that they wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?
It's going to take more time than you think. You might say, "I'm going to do this in two months." That doesn't happen that way.
It's probably going to be six months from now. So, be able to not talk yourself down when things don't go as you expect.
Instead, know that it is the process. If you love the journey, then the destination doesn't really matter as much. What matters is just kind of walking towards it and problem-solving.
