Michael, what do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I always come back to the people first and foremost. I've really enjoyed everyone I've worked with at Analysis Group and in the consulting space in general. I've also enjoyed meeting clients and learning from different types of people.

That's something I really enjoy, and I'll forever be grateful for the relationships I've built and nurtured as a result of being in consulting. Everyone I've met is kind and considerate, but also driven and ambitious.

They challenge me in ways I wouldn't have encountered otherwise, contributing to my growth and development as a professional and, more importantly, as a person. My overall growth is much better as a result of being in the consulting space.

So, definitely the people. I'm very grateful for them. Consulting also gave me the opportunity to find what interests me in terms of industry or functionality, something to pursue for my career.

There are many different options in consulting. I was fortunate enough to land in the healthcare space. I'm grateful consulting gave me the opportunity to see what possibilities are out there and learn about different industries through my casework.

Once I landed in healthcare, I found vast opportunity and got a lot of exposure to it. I'm very grateful for that. I really enjoy and appreciate consulting because it allows for such breadth of exposure.

Then, once you find a niche or a home, you can dive deep and become a subject matter expert.
