How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I would say grit. You have to be very motivated and driven.

Also, you have to be able to take rejection. I think that's a big thing. If you mess up or don't get something you want, you just have to brush it off and move on.

If you let the little things get to you, it's hard. Sales is probably more than half of my job.

But I think using that to drive you is key. People who have that fire in them and want to succeed, rejection makes them more motivated to get the next one.

The people I work with are very hungry. They want to be successful and make money, and they will stop at nothing. That's a common personality trait among the successful people I know.
