Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
My first job was working for a close family friend. He and a buddy started a DJ company that did proms, weddings, and corporate events. I started working for them when I was 16.
When I was 19, I acquired the business and became the sole proprietor until after I graduated from college. Being a small business owner really gave me the entrepreneurship bug.
Instead of applying for jobs when I was a senior at the University of Arizona, I decided to start a real estate marketing software company with some classmates. We had that business for a number of years after we graduated.
However, I left that company after two and a half years to move to New York City and pursue a job in tech. I landed with a Dutch startup as their second customer success manager in the United States.
A couple of years after I started there, we were acquired by SurveyMonkey, and I stayed on for two more years until December of 2020. Then I left to join the customer success team at FullStory, which is where I work now.
I transitioned into my current role in revenue operations at FullStory after being there for a year. I've been in my current role for almost a year and a half.
