Favorite Parts of Working in Real Estate as a Real Estate Advisor at The Agency
Mark, a Real Estate Advisor, finds the industry rewarding because "the more you put in, the more you get out," offering diverse income avenues from flipping properties to traditional resale. This contrasts with Mark's previous corporate experience, where "smarter, not harder" approaches were often constrained by workflow limitations, highlighting real estate's meritocratic nature.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
It's truly an industry that, as we talked about earlier, the more you put in, the more you get out. There are so many different ways you can earn a living in real estate.
This includes buying and flipping on your own, doing traditional resale property, or working with an investor. There are just so many different avenues.
I used to joke a little bit when I was in corporate. I would tell our management team to think smarter, not harder.
Some of the workflows I saw in corporate didn't seem to work that well. When I got out, I realized they actually had their act together. A lot of times, it was the best workflow they could come up with given their constraints.
But it's truly an industry where the smarter you are and the harder you work, the more you're rewarded.
