What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
My major was in economics. The first thing I did was take finance courses so I could understand the finance concepts for technical jobs.
I also completed two internships in college. These internships weren't directly related to what I'm pursuing now, but they helped me adapt to different situations and prepare for various job responsibilities.
I had one internship in M&A consulting and another in government, focusing on macroeconomics. While unrelated, I believe they helped me prove my ability to adapt and examine different industries. It depends on your capacity and abilities to take on jobs in different industries.
