What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

For me, part of it is the fast pace of things. I can implement different changes within operations and have a pretty quick turnaround, seeing those things happen.

As I mentioned earlier, one of the things that got me out of aerospace was that projects would often take several years. You'd be working on something, but it took a long time to see the results.

Now, some of the things I do could be completed within a week or a few months, and I can actually see those results. In particular, seeing how much I'm making lives easier for the employees working in operations is rewarding.

Whether that's cutting down on strenuous work or making things faster or simpler, it's rewarding to see that my work has a direct impact. I can actually see that on a day-to-day basis.
