How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say in both marketing and the events industry, people who typically thrive are outgoing. I think they're creative, they're creative problem solvers.
I think being organized in any industry is really important. I think people in marketing are people persons, and they really just enjoy talking with others and getting to know them.
And I think it's important to be a forever learner. You don't know everything, and you're not going to, so just being really open to critiques and feedback in all stages of your career is really important.
