What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I would say the flexibility. I love working fully remote, and it's nice to not have to commute, get ready for work, or get stuck in traffic. I'm a really big fan of being remote.
I would also say I like the independence of my job. My boss really puts a lot of trust in me to get my stuff done, so I don't feel overly monitored. I like being able to design my own schedule and work on what I want to work on, when I want to work on it, which is really nice.
In my current role in marketing, there are no big deadlines. It's just constantly working on content, and I'm prioritizing things, but I'm never stressed about needing to have something done by a specific time.
I would also say just the people. I think people in the events industry are very outgoing and easy to get along with. That makes the job easier and just more fun.
