What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
"Get comfortable being uncomfortable" has remained true to this day. It doesn't mean it's easy, but it's always a good reminder that if I'm uncomfortable, I'm probably in the right spot.
The other thing that has proven true my whole life is that most times I perceive a crisis, whether it's work-related, financial, or personal, if I don't give into it, there's always an opportunity nearby shortly after.
When I feel like the world is ending and I don't know how we'll come back from it, if I can stay present and let that settle, and keep my eyes open for a solution, I've found something even bigger. Timing is everything. So, just stay patient, be willing to keep moving forward, and look for the opportunity that comes after the crisis.
