What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge for me is generally anything that is frustrating. This can be an internal team personality problem, or the product we're bringing to market isn't selling as well as we expect.
At the end of the day, my biggest challenge is probably a decision I had an impact on that was my fault. You're in a place where anything unhappy came down to you and something you did, and it isn't working. You need to change it.
You are constantly being put to the brink of your capabilities and your comfort zone. You have to own the fact that if it's not working, it came down to you, and you also need to fix it.
From a mental standpoint, that can be a really hard thing to face because you have to deal with your failures literally every day. Every problem I'm solving touches on a failure that an old me had, and that today's me has to try to solve.
