What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?

No one has everything figured out. That, in one sentence, is the answer right there. No one has it all figured out.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to challenge a process because it seems inefficient or ineffective to you. If something does stand out, whether it's a process or whatever it is, and it seems inefficient or ineffective, don't be afraid to bring it up and try to drive some change.

What I've learned the most is that if you do drive that change, turn it into a project, and make a massive process improvement, that is going to get you more recognition, visibility, and overall respect than just doing your normal daily job.

So, in the most simple terms, just don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to drive change. Really, no one has it all figured out. Don't overthink it or worry too much. Just go in and do it.
