What does a day in the life of a founder look like?

Personally, I like to start my day by responding to emails and following up on anything needed to effectively start the new workday. This isn't the same for everyone, but I block out time for this in the morning. It really allows me to check a number of things off my to-do list in that first 30-minute window of my day, which sets the tone for me to feel very productive for the rest of the day.

Once I'm done with emails, I typically dive right into different meetings with our partners. Again, these are celebrities and nonprofits, building on some of our current relationships and projects, but also reaching out to new potential partners and collaborators. I would say outreach is really about 98% of what I do on a day-to-day basis because it's such an important part of our company and our success.

But there's also a lot of communication and collaboration with some of our other departments. This is just to make sure we're all working together, on the same page, and running like a well-oiled machine. As founder, I also work with a lot of our investors and board members. I have weekly meetings, sometimes multiple meetings each week, to provide progress updates and general check-ins, which can be a big part of any startup.
