What are your main responsibilities within your current role as a business development director?
My job is to be a capture lead for new projects. I develop new relationships with either current or new clients.
I also act as a technical guide in the intersection of technical consulting in the environmental space and the business side of creating something useful for a client or industry. So, a lot of my work is focused on project origination and development.
Then I create project teams around this concept, either from an R&D perspective or launching a startup in this space. Or, I find operational efficiencies within industry that are guided by ESG goal setting or some sort of energy transition plan or project that clients are most heavily interested in.
