What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
At Dexcom, the culture is really great. My team is easy to talk to, which makes things easier when you're swamped with work. You can talk to your manager, another analyst, or even just take a walk around the office to discuss things outside of work.
It really helps instead of just talking about work nonstop. Yesterday, I had the chance to go to a Padres game using Dexcom's season tickets. Little things like that help you see that we're not just working 24/7 or nine to five all the time.
It's really like a family in a way. We have office parties very often and team events. During the Olympics, we had an office-themed Olympics, which was really cool. It’s fun to see the executives join us too. It's not just the finance team, but really everyone.
