What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

I love my students. Teaching is one of the most fun things you could possibly do because you never know what they're going to come up with. I just love to see how they interact with each other and with the material.

Oftentimes I'll give them a problem-solution kind of project so they can start to think about how they can engage with what's going on around them. Students come up with the most amazing, interesting ideas, and I just love to see how they put everything together.

I also really like the flexibility of the schedule. Yes, I have a lot of work to do in a given week, hence the need for time management, but I'm able to flex my days to address my needs.

If I really need to go to the gym, have a doctor's appointment, or if a student needs to meet me at a certain time, I have the flexibility in my schedule to make those things happen. This is a freedom you generally don't have with a stereotypical eight-to-five job.
