What's one lesson you've learned that has proven significant in your career?
I would say this across all careers: be your own advocate. Seek out your own mentors.
Whether it's not your normal manager or other people you feel you want to learn from, that's going to get you the farthest in your career. Raise your hand and say, "I'm really interested in that project," even if it's not your normal scope of work. Just advocate for yourself, because you are your best advocate.
