What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
What I enjoy most about my current role is mentoring young professionals interested in a career in marketing and communication. I oversee a team of two, plus multiple subcontractors.
Some of my team members are fresh out of college and this is their first career. I really like mentoring, working with them, and training them to be extremely successful in communications.
This includes everything from pitching media and working with reporters to drafting website content and interviewing patient families. I just love the opportunity to mentor, teach, and coach young professionals interested in this career field.
