How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

My answer is that this question kind of piggybacks on what I've seen. The people who have succeeded the most are those who are super hungry and really thrive in trying to make things better than they are.

These are people who are really innovative and like to challenge the way things are done, instead of just accepting how things are done and working within the system. They are the "glass ceiling breakers" of the world.

Those who are collaborative also thrive. If you have a great idea and are challenging the future, but you're not willing to work with somebody, the likelihood of you accomplishing it is pretty close to zero.

You need buy-in from stakeholders, from the industry, and sometimes from regulators. So, it's not only about being brave enough to challenge the status quo but also cooperative enough to work with others to make it happen.
