Favorite Parts Of Working In The Ed Tech Software Industry As A CTO

Kelly, Scholarly's CTO, enjoys the dynamic nature of the edtech software industry, stating that "customers will…send us a request in the morning, and oftentimes we can get that turned around by the end of the day." This allows for the creation of software that "helps universities run better" and ultimately "delighting" their clients.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

Being in the ed tech software industry is pretty great because we get to build software that helps universities run better. It saves faculty members time so that they can focus more on teaching, research, and service.

It's also very dynamic. Customers will send us a request in the morning, and oftentimes we can get that turned around by the end of the day. So when it comes to really delighting our customers, that's one of my favorite things.
