What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?
In my role as head of production and as a business owner, I initially got into this industry because I wanted to become a cinematographer. I was drawn to being involved in the creative side of projects.
However, as a business owner working more on the logistical side, I've found myself distancing myself from the creative aspects. I'm now focused on behind-the-scenes work, like filling out paperwork and attending many meetings.
I'm doing more of the logistical work to ensure things run smoothly. While I love this role, I do miss being on the creative side of projects.
