Having a good poker face is important. Things can go awry in a matter of seconds. As someone on the executive leadership team and a leader of the business, you have to maintain your cool.
You have to pretend like you know what you're doing, even if you don't. At the end of the day, you are being looked up to and seen as the leader to guide through a problem.
So, being able to have a good poker face, maintain emotional intelligence, and keep your cool in hot water is crucial.
