What does a day in the life of a biology project manager look like?
It's a lot of meetings and coordinating. I'm on the phone a lot.
If I don't have a scheduled meeting, there are usually phone calls about scheduling monitors or new problems that have arisen during the day. These calls often involve putting out fires.
It can involve some handholding and acting as a personal therapist. However, I still do some report writing and reviewing.
It's a lot of proposals, checking on budgets, and doing invoices. Overall, it's a lot of interacting with people.
