What are your main responsibilities as VP of Marketing?
My main responsibilities as VP of Marketing include overseeing the entire marketing team. This involves a lot of people management, weekly one-on-ones, and team meetings to discuss priorities and upcoming projects.
Much of this is done virtually. So, I focus on checking in, ensuring projects are on track, and that everyone is on the same page.
I also act as the marketing voice in cross-functional strategy conversations. I collaborate with operations, product development, the CEO, CFO, and sales to ensure all business segments have input on major initiatives.
Additionally, I oversee the creative team and the entire creative process. I work with designers to create marketing materials. This includes pulling together creative briefs, providing feedback, and ensuring final assets are completed on time for various platforms like Instagram, print events, and emails.
In summary, my core responsibilities involve leading meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and overseeing the creative process and its deliverables.
