What I enjoy most about being a VP of Marketing?
A couple of things come to mind. I know I've talked already about the variety and not having just one thing that I'm focused on every day of the week, all day long. I think that works really well for my brain and personality.
I like that things can change on a dime, and being flexible and working on a ton of variety. I also really like the people management. I like checking in with members of my team, making sure that I am helping them continue to grow and that they're in a good place within the company.
That piece is admittedly newer for me in this role. But in combination with that nice variety piece and sort of every day being a little bit different, I'm really lucky with the team that I have. They're a great group, but I really like that element of it too.
It kind of humanizes a lot of the number-crunching, analytical work that I get pulled into a lot as well.
