What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
It's just filled with really terrific, interesting people. I love my writer and journalism friends. They're just so creative, funny, and fantastic.
It's one of the things I really miss about working in a regular newsroom. Those days are gone, and it's not for me anymore anyway. It's a very different landscape in journalism.
I think most journalists these days are probably working remotely. There's not a central place where they gather. That's just the evolution of the business.
Still, communicating with people virtually is great. What else do I enjoy most? It's a fun job to have.
If you get bored easily, it's a great thing. The best thing about it is that every day is different. There are always new things, and you're always learning. That's what I love about it.
