Transcript

Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Any internships or jobs you had before your current role?

Absolutely. During my undergrad, I studied psychology and worked as a behavioral therapist for children with special needs, mostly children on the autism spectrum. My focus was on psychology and child development.

After that, I joined Teach for America and spent four years in education, both as a teacher and an academic counselor. Then I joined the nonprofit world.

I worked for Make-A-Wish as a training manager, in a position where I could really help children and make a big impact. I then made a major shift out of that into the hospitality industry. This was due to my husband's job and moving a lot, so I ended up joining his company.

I worked for a luxury hotel brand and have been there since 2014.
